The Day The Music Died February 3, 1959

I was just a young lad when that fatal crash  took the
the lives of  Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. "The Big Bopper Richardson."

I was to young to understand at the time ,
but grew more curious, as I grew older.

Their chartered Beechcraft Bonanza crashed just minutes after takeoff with Roger
Peterson at the wheel. He died along with his three passenger. The  Investigators blamed the crash on bad weather and
pilot error.

"The day the music died."  In my search I found, BIOGRAPHY, covered the story well.
Since the 1971 song by Don McLean, "American Pie" the fraise - the day the music died - has grown in intensity, as referring to the crash.

I use "Duck-Duck-Go" as my search engine. Here are the links returned  when I wanted to learn more about the event.

10 Years After

 Everywhere is Freaks and hairies
Dykes and fairies
Tell me where is sanity
Tax the rich Feed the poor Till there are no Rich no more
I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you
Population Keeps on breeding
Nation bleeding
Still more feeding, economy
Life is funny
Skies are sunny
Bees make honey
Who needs money,Monopoly
I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you
World pollution
There's no solution
Institution
Electrocution
Just black or white Rich or poor
Them and us Stop the war
I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do.............. So I'll leave it up to you. Try Amazon Music Unlimited 30-Day Free Trial
